Eating healthy is one major step to achieving good health. If you don't
eat the right foods your body becomes deficient in something it needs.
When we eat we need to not only eat to fill up our bellies we need to eat
to help build a strong body where all the organs and muscles work together
in balance, without the right foods you don't build a healthy body.
Eating too much of one type of food or not enough of others can cause
physical distress. There are “official” charts that would teach us what
proportions of each food group we need but each of us are different and
have different requirements. No one can say that for you perfect balance
you should eat the same things and in the same proportions as someone
else.
A good plan of action if you are seeking to change your eating habits to
reflect a new interest in your health is to form a menu and start to add
dishes you try and like to it. Keep in mind with your menu information
about food groups. Along with this menu you might want to keep a journal
of your eating experiences and keep track of how you feel over time.
